QCOR 2012 Scientific Sessions - Archives

Message from the QCOR Conference Chair
Henry Ting, MD FAHA, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine

The 2012 Quality of Care and Outcomes Research in Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke Scientific Session will be held May 9-11, 2012 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, GA.  As in previous years, the 2012 conference will place a strong emphasis on health care policy and delivery, as well as promoting involvement of new or junior investigators.  Topics and speakers represent a variety of viewpoints to stimulate thoughtful discussion and debate on the most important challenges facing health care. The most important aspect of the conference remains the multitude of interactions among participants that take place during, between, and after the sessions. The conference is small enough that meaningful exchanges can take place easily among its participants. The spirit of the quality and outcomes community has always been one of openness, collaboration, and spirited debate. We are honored to invite you and your colleagues to contribute to the 2012 AHA QCOR Conference.

QCOR 2012 General Information

The meeting will focus on new and developing opportunities, initiatives, projects, policies and research relevant to measuring and improving quality of care and outcomes for persons with or at risk for cardiovascular disease and stroke.  Novel research methods for quantifying outcomes, new findings from clinical trials and observational studies and translational research will also be presented.
