The American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association is partnering with the international film and broadcasting company, WebsEdge, to bring AHA TV to the International Stroke Conference 2014, from February 12-14, in San Diego, CA.

AHA TV will be an onsite conference television channel featuring a new episode daily. It will be shown around the conference, on screens and in hotel rooms, as well as online, on YouTube, on the conference Web site, and on social media.

This venture serves to raise the visibility of the hard work of cerebrovascular research and practice experts and to provide an opportunity to learn about leading edge research, development and treatment that is saving lives from stroke.

Each daily program has two features: “Thought Leadership” and “Conference News.” Thought Leadership pieces are five-minute sponsored film segments highlighting programs, case studies and best practices in the prevention, treatment and care of cerebrovascular disease. Conference News is a daily program of conference highlights, featuring “behind the scenes” interviews, coverage of conference events, and reactions to the day from attendees.

WebsEdge will be reaching out to organizations and agencies to describe the “Thought Leadership” program and seek their engagement in creating the five-minute documentary-style films highlighting particular aspects of their work.

The Communication Center is a "one-stop shopping" electronic information center utilized by hundreds of thousands of attendees.  Attendees can leave and retrieve conference messages, access the Internet, view the Science and Technology floor plan, search for other attendees, print airline boarding passes and claim CME credit.
