Emergency medicine professionals are a critical part of stroke diagnosis and treatment. Each year, we offer invited symposia and oral and poster abstracts in Emergency Medicine in addition to presenting the Stroke Care in Emergency Medicine Award at ISC. We welcome emergency medicine nurses and physicians at the conference and hope to continue this partnership for many years to come.
Maximize your conference experience by attending one of the exemplary pre-conference symposia:
- State-of-the-Science Stroke Nursing Symposium
- ISC Pre-Conference Symposium I: Stroke in the Real World - Working Man Blues: Challenges in Inpatient Stroke Care
- ISC Pre-Conference Symposium II (Students/Trainees/Early Career Professionals): Emerging Trends for Stroke Trials: Biomarkers, Adaptive Trial Design, Repair Trials, and New Endpoints
The International Stroke Conference is pleased to present the Stroke Care in Emergency Medicine Award. This award is open to investigators at all levels who are an AHA/ASA member and submit an abstract in the Emergency Medicine category to the International Stroke Conference.
Emergency medicine professionals are often the first providers to see victims of stroke and are a crucial part of stroke diagnosis and treatment. This year, in addition to our stroke emergency medicine science at the conference, we also have a special pre-conference symposium - Stroke in the Real World: Working Man Blues: Challenges in Inpatient Stroke Care. We warmly invite and welcome emergency medicine nurses, physicians and EMTs at the International Stroke Conference and hope to continue our partnership for many years to come.
