Monday, July 19Dear Colleague, The summer season has become synonymous with gathering of scientists throughout the world for the premier meeting of basic cardiovascular research. This July the American Heart Association Basic Cardiovascular Sciences (BCVS) committee will once again host the BCVS Scientific Sessions. The theme of “Technological and Conceptual Advances in Cardiovascular Disease” is timely, broad based, and cutting edge. The program assembled by co-chairs Drs. Gerald Dorn and Peipei Ping is truly world class and promises to be the most talked about gathering of the year for basic researchers in this field.

Early career investigators are Ph.D.s and/or M.D.s who are still in training (i.e., residency, fellowship, etc.) or have completed training within the last four years; or Ph.D.s and/or M.D.s who are still within in the first four years after their first faculty appointment as of the award application date.
