Registrants who cancel must request a refund of fees paid in writing. Cancellation requests received at Convention Data Services by April 8, 2016, midnight EST will be processed, less a $75 administrative fee.  No refunds will be made after April 8, 2016. Purchased meal and event tickets are non-refundable. Refunds will not be granted for no-shows after the conference. No refunds will be issued onsite.

Payment Details
Fully payment must be received with your registration form. Make checks payable to the American Heart Association or charge your registration to American Express, Discover, Visa or MasterCard. Registrations without complete payment will not be processed. Wire transfers and purchase orders are not accepted.

Attendees registering in advance will find their badge and conference materials at the American Heart Association registration desk at the Omni Nashville Hotel.

Information for International Attendees
This section of our website provides our international audience with important information, including links to consulates and embassies, to help you obtain your visa.  Please begin your visa application process as soon as possible.  Consulates in some countries take several months to process applications.  If you require a personalized visa invitation letter, you must register for this conference first.  A letter will automatically be sent to you afterwards via e-mail.

Media Registrants

Please Note: The American Heart Association shall not be liable for cancellation of the  Arteriosclerosis Thrombosis and Vascular Biology/Peripheral Vascular Disease 2016 Scientific Sessions caused by labor strikes, civil disorders, fires, weather conditions, or other acts of God or for any damages or losses resulting from such cancellation.

Before a registration is confirmed, member and nonmember Student/Trainee or Technicians must provide proof of status with a current license or certificate, student ID or a letter written on official letterhead and signed by department head, mentor or supervisor.  The full nonmember fee will be charged if verification is not provided by April 14, 2016.

ATVB|PVD 2016 will be held at the Omni Nashville, located in the heart of downtown, within easy access of area attractions.  The hotel is connected to the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, adjacent to Music City Center, 3 blocks from Ryman Auditorium, and 2 miles from Vanderbilt University.

Rooms for conference participants are available at a special reduced rate of $209 single or double and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until all are filled or until, Monday, April 11, 2016. After this date, reservations may be at the prevailing rate and will be subject to availability. The guest room rate is exclusive of applicable taxes.
