Housing Information – Conference Venue and Hotel Reservations
ATVB 2012 will be held at the Hilton Chicago, a landmark downtown hotel located on the Cultural Michigan Avenue Mile. The hotel is located at 720 South Michigan Avenue, and is within walking distance of world-famous Millennium Park, restaurants and shopping. Close by are Navy Pier, Adler Planetarium, Theatre District, Art Institute and Soldier Field.

Rooms for conference participants are available at special reduced rates starting at $229 per night single or double, and will be available on a first come, first served basis until all are filled or until Wednesday, March 26, 2012.  After this date, reservations may be made at the prevailing rate and will be subject to availability.  The guest room rate is exclusive of applicable taxes.  To take advantage of the reduced rates, book online or call 1-800-445-8667 (1-800-HILTONS).

The most convenient airports are O’Hare International Airport, which is 18 miles (45 minutes) away, and Midway Airport, which is 12 miles (25 minutes) away.

*Nonmember trainees, fellows, students and technicians and member technicians must provide proof of status with a current license or certificate, student ID or a letter written on official letterhead and signed by department head, mentor or supervisor.

Full payment must be received with your registration form.  Make checks payable to the American Heart Association or charge your registration to American Express, Discover, VISA or MasterCard. Registrations without complete payment will not be processed.  Wire transfers and purchase orders are not accepted.
