ASA-Bugher Foundation Centers for Stroke Prevention Meeting - Boston, Mass.

The ASA/Bugher Foundation Centers for Stroke Prevention Research met in February in Boston, Mass.  Dr. Karen Furie and the Massachusetts General Hospital Center hosted the event.  Personnel from each center gave presentations on their progress.  Center Fellows were introduced and shared a brief summary of their work as well as individual posters. Science and Training Working Groups met to discuss progress and next steps in the areas of fellowship training and scientific collaboration.  The initiative’s Oversight Advisory Group planned and led the meeting, providing guidance to the Center Network.
