Membership Benefits and Criteria
The AHA/ASA Professional Membership offers five levels, each of which receive basic benefits, plus a corresponding package:

*Only eligible in this tier for a maximum of four years. Then, membership must be upgraded to the next tier.

All AHA/ASA Professional Members receive basic benefits: - New membership benefit! Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA) New Open Access journal—online only, peer reviewed. Members save $500 in publication fees with discount code
- As of winter 2012, the AHA research grant application fee is waived for members. You can apply at my.americanheart.org/research
