AHA policy provides that Councils cannot endorse or recommend products and services.

If a scientific conference or society requests sponsorship from a Council, it would only be acceptable if no products or services are involved.

In return, the Council will receive:

• Acknowledgement of the AHA’s Scientific Council(s) contribution in promotional materials and the final program.

• AHA will be provided with a copy of the final program

• AHA will be provided with a list of attendees (including faculty and speakers)

• The organizers will grant AHA permission to display the Scientific Councils Newsletter and other relevant announcements at the conference.
