  AHA Council Membership in the CVRI Council has been an important part of my academic career since fellowship. It has provided much in the way of networking with both radiologists and cardiologists, facilitating contact with colleagues both nationally and internationally, and has provided a forum for our trainees to present and achieve recognition through the CVRI Young Investigator Awards.
